How we handle enquiry data
This notice explains what happens to the information you send through the enquiry forms on this site.
Who is responsible
Guangdong Shanhu Group Co., Ltd., Foshan, Guangdong, China, is the controller of the data described here. Questions about this notice, or about your data, go to sales@shanhu-group.com.
What we collect
When you submit an enquiry we collect the name, company, business email address, destination market, estimated volume, product of interest and message that you enter. We also record technical data generated by your visit: IP address, browser type, the page the form was submitted from, and the referring source.
Why we use it
Only to answer your enquiry, prepare a quotation and follow up on the commercial relationship that may follow. We do not sell or rent personal data, and we do not use it for advertising. The legal basis is your request for a quotation — steps taken at your request before entering a contract — and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries.
How long we keep it
Enquiry records are kept for 24 months from the last contact and then deleted. If an order follows, the records needed for the contract and for statutory retention periods are kept for as long as those obligations require.
Who we share it with
Our hosting provider and our email provider process this data on our instructions. We disclose personal data otherwise only where the law requires it. We do not transfer data to advertisers or data brokers.
Cookies and tracking
This site sets no advertising and no analytics cookies. There is no third-party tracking script on these pages. Your language choice is kept in the address of the page you are reading, and the form only holds what you type until you send it.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to the processing. Write to sales@shanhu-group.com and we answer within 30 days. If you are in the European Union, the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you also have the right to complain to your national supervisory authority.
